Etsy warning (found in another post...wanted to pass along)

Wow... very interesting!! I don't understand how people think it's okay to rip off others, ugh! Props to those who actually make their own jewelry because seeing the difference in the two -- handmade is MUCH more beautiful! Especially more beautiful than "claiming" you made it!

Thanks for posting! definitely needed the reminder. With all the "hype" of finding beautiful items on etsy, I'm guilty of not even thinking about the re-selling aspect.

This is true, but at the same time, Etsy stuff doesn't HAVE to be handmade, there is an option to view "all products," which means it doesn't have to be handmade.. but I agree that the quality is more than likely compromised.

I am happy to be an Etsy seller that DOES make all of my jewelry by hand.

I mean I get what she was saying but some of the links she posted didn't claim to be "handmade" and I applaud anyone creative enough to make money by reselling, dropshipping, or whatever other methods they chose. 

It's nothing that Target, Wal Mart, Macy's, and any other place you can think of does. Do I think it's "ok" to capitalize off others' ignorance or laziness? No, but I can't knock the hustle.
