Well for you ladies who didn't read my previous post, I went through a moment where I was thinking about not going through with the wedding. We were still going to get married, just not do the big wedding. Well, FI and I talked it over and we decided we want to do the wedding, even if my parents don't decide to help. I talked to my mom about it and she talked it over with my dad. He said he would talk to me and FI about it when we come home next month. FI and I have decided that we can afford the wedding we want and would hate to get married without our families and friends there. We just will have to postpone the honeymoon if my parents don't come through. Don't get me wrong, I'm doing this as frugal as possible so my dad should be happy. I don't expect them to pay for our entire wedding but it would be nice for them to contribute. But either way, we are going to have our wedding and it will be perfect. We have set up appointments for our trip home and are getting our engagement pictures done while we are there too. I'm really excited and so happy we figured it out!! Thanks for the advice ladies
