Peacock feathers?

I've been thinking of using peacock feathers in some of the reception decorations (and maybe in the bouquets).  I thought I heard that they are "bad luck", but I've read both good luck and bad luck.  Not that I believe in such things, but would it be weird if I included them?  Our wedding colors are navy and green (apple/avocado/lime), so I think they would work really well.

I've never heard that they were bad luck. I think they would look great with your color scheme, and I've seen tons of pictures of weddings that used peacock feathers and they looked great!

I just googled this, and it was good stuff and bad stuff. Honestly, I'm a pretty superstitious person but never heard of the peacock thing. Either way, I say go with it if you want. I've always loved the colors!!

I had a good friend use them in her wedding last year and it looked FAB. You can even find Vista print themes with Peacock feathers w/blue/green

I think peacock feathers are a lot of fun! Go for it! I've never heard they're unlucky, but I also read somewhere that it's bad luck to get married on a Saturday. There are lots of weird wedding superstitions out there and I doubt any of them are true. Then again I'm not superstitious.

What peacock feathers are bad luck?!?! Pssshhh... I say go for it... I love looking at weddings that incorporate peacock feathers.

Thanks, I never heard that either until I was thinking about using them and did a Google search...stupid Google!  LOL
