Tisk tisk ladies, WE'VE BEEN BAD WITH SWEETS!!

Atleast I'm not the only one haha, but I know that I neeeeeeed to cut out the sugars to start seeing some results...sweating and then just eating sugar doesn't do me any good

Let's see, I did my 2-a-day yesterday with a cardio/arms circuit on lunchbreak and then Insanity: Pure cardio with the FI after work...much better on the legs in the wooden floored gym room versus at home on the carpet.
D: Had roast beef on whole wheat

Today:
B: Vitamuffin sandwich (yuck, I'll never buy those again, holy bland
L: made healthy pot roast (lean) in the crock pot last night with carrots for us to take for lunch
D: it's TACO TUESDAY so we head to a local restaurant with friends after work and have 99 cent tacos...but they're good: on corn tortillas and lean mean versus ground
W/O: Plan to do Insanity: Plyo Cardio Circuit on lunchbreak

  • Yesterday-
    50 mins of hills on the Elliptical, 15 mins of strength training (weights) & 10 mins of the med ball for torso rotary
    D- Wild Rice & Salad topped with salmon, sweet onion dressing

    Today-
    B- Granola Bar
    L- going to be the same as last nights dinner. 
    Working out when I get home- Hope to do more than last night but we'll see Laughing

     

  • Last night I did ab ripper x with my roommate- I'm slow getting into the workout routine again, so it was mostly a lot of rolling around on the floor laughing and I probably only did half of the workout, but its better than nothing! For dinner I had salad and jalapeno poppers (I had a few left in the box, but they're gone now and I won't buy them again!)

    Cereal and coffee for breakfast today, with strawberries, yogurt, a peanut butter sandwich and cranberry juice coming up for lunch. Not sure about dinner, but I might try to go to the gym after work and hopefully that will encourage me to eat healthy for dinner!

    I'm also going to steal Ambie's idea from a PP and get a picture of the dress on my phone to encourage me to make the right choices!

    Workout: Today I went on a 45 min walk/jog at the park... today was my cardio day... I also did 100 crunches....( and I can feel it too)

    @ Lissa: are you on a very limited caloric intake? I feel like a cow looking at my food list lol. People at work even joke that I'm always eating, but I eat small bits every 2 hours so I never really get hungry

  • @Kat- yes I try to keep it under 1400 cals a day.  Even with working out my metab isn't anywhere close to what it was years ago.  I eat very light all day long. 

     

  • That's how I am. I was skinny all in hs (a freaking ZERO) and then around the age of 22 when I was partying and not working out my body just changed and I was a good size 9 out of no where...Over time I adjusted and started to work out at home, then the gym, and cut out sugar (another demon I battle NOW) and drank tons of water and lost it.
    I just can't eat large meals; I saw that you eat snacks like me all day

  • I do eat snacks usually something with zero calories- just so I don't get hungry- like celery or cucumbers.  And raw!!!
    I'm 5'8 and right now way 145lbs.  At 19 when I had my son walking out of the hospital I weighed 120lbs.  I honestly just neglected my body with school, work & taking care of a child.  I've been bound & determined to get back to my sexy body since last summer.  So far I have lost a total of 17lbs and went from a size 10 to a big 6/ small 8.  Want to be a 4 and I'll be satisfied.

     

  • You're doing really good! I am 5'1" and weigh around 126; the smallest I've been (aside from HS) is 121. My goal is to be around 115/116 for the wedding...and it's always the hardest to lose the last few lbs!

    I need to be better with my snacks...my co-workers don't help!
    Plus, we get paid this week so we can grocery shop this weekend...I used to eat cucumbers and fat free dressing or carrotts....or sugar free jello...but FI always eats it all when I'm not there so I have to have that stuff on lockdown!

    Idea: I need a fridge under my desk!

  • My goal is 130.  I'm bad with the snacks though.  Ice cream is my #1 down fall.  I LOVE it.  As you already know my co-workers are no help at all.  From vendors & contractors we get loaded up with food here.  It's so hard to say no to going out for lunch.  And on the days I can't say no to lunch it's even worse (ai: lunch meetings with potential customers).

  • Icecream is the devil! With my last ex (especially when things were going downhill anyway) I resorted to it for comfort and gained weight quick! Even celebs turn to icecream to gain weight for roles!

    I can't think of the name of it off hand but we found a yummy frozen yogurt at Walmart that is around 3 grams of fat, 20 carbs, without the buttermilk...the cookies & cream was awesome!

    (and don't forget when you workout your muscle weighs more than fat, 130 would be tiny for someone your height! I almost weigh that now!)

    Thats what everyone keeps telling me.  I suppose I'll just be happy when I'm a size 4 then lol
    You definitely look way smaller than 130 though. 

    Kroger has a blueberry Pomegranate icecream that I absolutely love.  It has tiny pieces of dark chocolate in it as well.  3.5 grams of fat & 140 cals per serving.  It's my reward when I complete a serious workout & I limit myself to one serving every five days.

    FI reminds me that the scale doesn't tell how you fit into clothes, etc. I am a size 2-4 (I have thicker athletic legs) and only want to lose another 6 lbs or so.

    Yes, if you reach your goal SIZE that's better than WEIGHT ;)

  • Yes it's light.  Walmart has the same in their brand as well.  I haven't tried it but I've heard that it's just as good.
    Yeah I think size is my main goal here.  I would like to say that I weigh 130 or less though Laughing.  I just think that sounds good lol

    W/O: we have puppy class! so I run around with the mutt for an hour, then we both go home and pass out. I'm on a c25k hiatus because we don't have a treadmill (yet) and it keeps SNOWING!
