So I know I don't really know you ladies very well yet, but I feel comfortable enough to vent for just a minute...
My kids are leaving for six weeks on saturday. They are going to my ex-husbands in Pittsburgh which is like 4 hours from me. The've never gone for this length of time before and it's making me very anxious. He usually gets them for 4 weeks in July every summer but he made a big stink about having them longer this year. The only reason I even allowed it is because me and FI are going out there for a family party towards the end of June and I told XH that I wanted them for that whole weekend while we were in town and he agreed.
I just found out when I talked to XH last night that his wife just got a job, so I asked who is going to be watching my boys while they're there. He gave me a sparse answer about how either his mom or his aunt and uncle, or even maybe his sister-in-law could take them e for a day each during the week. So basically my kids are going to be bounced around from house to house every day they're there,
I hate the fact that they're going at all, but I know he's their father, blah blah blah...he's not a good person and the reason I moved so far away is that I'm purposefully trying to make sure they don't grow up to be men like him.
What am I gonna do without my babies for 6 whole weeks??
(they're not really babies...9 and 7...lol)
