Cupcake bar

Matt and I LOVE cupcakes and it's honestly a bit obnoxious. We both travel a lot for work so we are always trying new cupcake places everywhere we go. So of course we have to have cupcakes included in the wedding somehow.

I found a local place that does cupcake bars for weddings. we are going to probably go with 3 cake choices and then 3 different fillings and 3 different frostings. the guest will be able to have their own cupcake built with different toppings, etc.

best part, $2.50 a person so it's coming out a little bit less than cake!

I'm right there with you- I looove cupcakes so I think that's a great idea!

And ditto FutureMrsSheeler- it's a good way to incorporate a little bit of yourselves into the wedding

Love cupcakes here too.  Plus there isn't a hassle with cutting the cake.  Most places will charge a cutting fee inless you get someone from your group to do it.

i think we'll still do a cake though b/c i would like to do the whole cake cutting thing. but it'll be small, no more than 2 tiers and i think we'll put the bottom tier in red velvet since his parents are all about that.
