I never said Hello either!

Sorry girls, I realize I have been popping up here for almost a month now and never offically introduced myself.  My name is Amy and my FI is Steve.  We have been together for over two years.  He propsed to me on December 27th in a cabin in the woods with snow on the ground. So romantic.  We set the date for May 5th and since he proposed I have been planning like a mad woman.  Within three weeks of being engaged I had the ceremony and reception sites (my mother's doing).  I already have my bridesmaids and they have their dresses too (they were on sale had to grab them fast).  I have a lot of big checks out of the way because my mother is so on top of me about these things.  

My Fi is a high school english teacher and I just graduated college in December.  I am a certified elementary and middle school math teacher, so right now I am just trying to find a job.  WIth the PA education budget cuts it is rough on the streets, so for now I am substitute teacher.

I know it's late but just wanted to give you girls more background on my FI and I since I have been here so long.  My FSIL got me hooked on the boards (she is getting married in September of this year) and since then I am always on checking things out.

Congrats and welcome! I'm Audrey and my FI is Christopher and we're getting married on May 19. I did a lot of the planning early too and have most of our major vendors booked, which is a relief, because we've just started house hunting and that's enough stress to deal with!!

Welcome to the group and Congratulations!!  My name is Amanda and my FI is Aaron and we are getting married May 17.  You are so lucky you can get these things booked early, you will be so far ahead of the game then some of us (cough..cough...myself) who have not done anything yet. lol.  Also mad props for both of you for being teachers, I could not do it, I have no idea how y'all can put up with some of the kids I see and I only  have them for a few hours at a time!!!
