  • I have a few.

Kelly Ripa- Electrolux version. I hope I can be an amazing hostess, mother, an wife, and still look amazing and run around full of energy... totally unrealistic, but a girl can dream!

Bree Van deKamp- married to Rex version combined with current version. Take away the affairs and ruined marriages and children- I admire her immaculate housekeeping, amazing cooking/baking, and efforts to make her family perfect... just focusing on the postives here.

  • In real life it's my FMIL. She's an amazing Mom and after 30+ years of marriage still totally in love with her husband, like just started dating, adorably cute still in love. I hope FI & I are still like that!
I don't have any pics of her on my computer so I'll post my fictional inspiration. Lily from "How I Met Your Mother." It's one of our favorite shows and our friends joke that we're the Lily & Marshall of our group. I hope that once we're married things won't change. We'll still go out to the bar with friends and be the coolest couple they know Cool

  • My mom!  I guess this is kind of a weird one because my parents got divorced a few years ago, but she is the woman I look up to most.  She did an amazing job of raising three children, holding down a job, and keeping our house spotless and full of good food.  I also admire her drive for going back to school at the age of 49, I don't know if I would be able to do that!  Plus, she looks AWESOME for her age, something I hope I inherit!

This is my mama, she will be 50 this year!

This is probably really weird but I'd have to say Tori Spelling. I absolutely love her books and while she may have problems with her mother I think she is an amazing mother. I love that she's hands on even though she's famous and really tries to do everything hersel while loving her husband. The verdict is still out on whether or not we'll be having children but if that day ever happens I'l like to be a mother and wife like her.

  • Pam from The Office, though I suspect I identify with her because my FI and I work at the same company as well. ;)

Had you asked me about a month ago, I would have said Maria Shriver, because I love the independence that she has within her marriage-- both she and her husband (Arnold Schwartzenegger)  have prominent careers and she seems like she hasn't had to sacrifice any of her professional goals as a wife.  But that's my pre-May answer; these days I just feel sorry for her and I hope that I never find myself in her situation.
