okay so i just need to vent.  i was at work today and i was talking to one of my associates about receiving some stuff i had ordered for my wedding.  well, my boss overheard me and accused me of being a bridezilla.  that really made me mad, especially since i am no where near that title.  he then said that i will be a complete bridezilla by the time my wedding day arrives--which i might be stressed, but i am not going to be like that (especially since i am getting things done a year away vs. waiting until the last minute).  sorry to vent, but that just really pissed me off!

i think that is the best plan-i mean, he says that he wants to come to my wedding, but if he is going to act like that, forget it.  i needed to cut some people from my guest list anyway

I would have been pissed too. If I were you I wouldn't invite him either. That was just rude.

xxkrazy--i can't believe your manager called you that!  that is ridiculous.  anyways, i know that some people just can't relate to our excitement of our wedding, but don't rain on my parade!  if you don't want to hear about it, then my boss shouldn't eavesdrop on the conversation.  yep, he is definitely not making the cut for the guest list-jerk probably wouldn't come anyway or get us a gift (is that bad i said that).

Wow, thats just rude. And I also don't understand how mentioning that you received some wedding stuff makes you a bridezilla!  Just try to avoid bringing it up in front of him from now on. (And I wouldn't invite my boss either if he called me a bridezilla)

Yea that was definitely rude!  I agree with PP just don't talk about wedding stuff at work and don't worry that he said that, yes, its annoying.  But if you aren't acting like that then just ignore him.  I definitely wouldn't invite him to the wedding, he's being rude but then he wants you to pay for him to attend your wedding by feeding him etc. yea I don't think so lol.
