What's your inspiration for bridesmaid dresses?

And have you started looking at them with your ladies yet?

So my inspiration is the "tiers" of lace and beading on my own dress... and the strapless neckline.



Love this one from JCrew, but they don't have it in stores, and I'm not sure how I feel about making the girls order it online.

Also thinking about having two colors maybe... I'll be having two MoH's and two BMs



I'm hoping to get at least three of my girls together to go dress shopping in May or June.

The dresses will be lavender. 2 of my BMs will be trying on dresses in June   Can't wait to pick it out!

I'm letting my girls pick whatever eggplant dress from Alfred Angelo they want, as long as it's cocktail or tea length. I'm hoping we can all get together sometime over the summer to go shopping since only 2 of them know each other!

Me and the girls havent been shopping. Theres too much going on right now and i think I'm gonna wait till after summer. But, I know I want them to all have a different dress. Just knee length, not long. And my color is hard to find (a dark teal) so I might have to go with black..

I'll probably end up doing something like this. I don't really like the look of strapless dresses, and I don't want my BMs to have to keep readjusting all night so it will have to have straps of some kind.

I knew my dress would have a sweetheart neckline, so I wanted the girls to have something similar (in a shorter version).  I absolutely LOVE this dress from J. Crew, and all the girls agreed they love it, too!

I don't have one in particular, I told the girls to pick out a black dress, not super short, but not long either, I prefer tealength.  I'm going shopping with my MOH sometime, but no date set.

I love the horizon color from David's Bridal. I will have each of my girls pick out a style dress they love.

I'm only having a Maid of Honor and she'll wear either a black or black/white print dress...

I'm having six bridesmaids and they are all diferent shapes and sizes so I'm going to let them pick the dress that they are most comfortable in. The dresses will all be an eggplant color. I just want the dress to be something they love and will hopefully wear again at sometime so it isn't a complete waste of money. Since all my girls live anywhere from 30 minutes away to 9 hours away, it'll be hard for all of us to go shopping at the same time but we'll work it all out over the summer! I'm excited
