We finally got the invitation to FI's cousin's wedding (it's the 17th), and at the bottom it says...drum roll, please...WEDDING WISHING WELL. Are you serious?! So basically, you're telling people ON THE INVITATION that they should bring money. I have never seen that on an invitation before. SMH! It's one thing to spread the news (by word of mouth only!) that you would rather have cash; if you're mom had told us that, we would have happily written you a big, fat check. I think we'll be bringing a regular gift...with no gift receipt.
Also, it's a VERY confusing invitation. The invitation says "Adults reception at eight o'clock", but they the RSVP card says dinner at 6 pm. Are they feeding us, or not? What time should we show up? Ugh.
