I'ts DERBY week here

Which is great!!!! This is my favorite time of the year, so much going on and just a marvelous time.  I have my three dresses picked out for this weekend, going to pick up my Favorite this afternoon from the cleaners.  I’ve had this dress since 2001 and I still love it oh so much


Anyone going to Derby or have been?

The derby is the only leg of the triple crown i havent been to. Hoping to make it soon, I'm so jealous.

I hate to say this but the Derby is the ONLY leg of the triple crown that I have been to.  But there is just so much to do here this week.  Parties parties parties!

You have to come at least once.  Just make sure you book your hotel at least 9 months in advance

I was hoping to work the derby and make some major money, but the people never came to campus to hire workers. Even though I am in KY I have never even watched the derby. I feel like a bad Kentuckian... Since my fmil lives in Louisville, I am slowly learning more about the derby and all the events that go with it! Maybe one year I will actually get to go

Oh Sun you have to come at least once.  My favorite part is the Hats.  I love love love hats.  You think there were some wacky ones at the royal wedding just wait until you see them at the Derby.
