We're having ours at my parents house, casual backyard wedding.  If we were doing it up, yours would be a must!

small intimate weddings are the way to go...i WISH we had room to do something. but we are living with his parents right now. first time since i was 16 im back living at home. ive been on my own for a long time.
Its costing us a lot but its going to be worth it if people would cooperate. lots of wedding drama and it sucks because its all being paid for by us. it drives me nuts. but all in all i think we are right around 28K. trying to not go broke and buy a house really soon too. its pretty scary doing this all at once.

I'm sure it will be gorgeous!!!  Can't wait to see your pics after!  I loved that venue as soon as I saw it.  I was watching it with my girls and oohing and aaahing the whole time, saying how beautiful it was!  I was just dissapointed with the bride, she could have done SO much more with the place!

yes agreed that place has great potential. im already spending so much but im getting big pilsnar vase centerpieces some nice arrangements for the ceremony and an arch way. decorating the bridge with tuling and have up lighting and kinetics everywhere
heres the DJ set up at the venue from a bridal show i went to
we bought this set up and uplighting for 2 rooms and paid 3800. i got quoted 7500 and almost sh-t myself.

dance floor is to the left and the bridge walks over this huge area where there are sand sharks and bass and flounder swimming underneath of you. there is a huge tank to the left which buts up against the dance floor with fish in it. my favorite is the sea horse exhibit. i can sit there watching them for hours.

its so weird how different the place looks decorated. they put candles everywhere and the staff has been super great. although my sales guy promised us the world and then got fired. we did manage to fight for a lot of things like the amount of food we were promised. but we were supposed to have a boat take us to a private island to take pictures and they said no. we were also promised ice sculptures and i am working on fighting for those as i dont want to spend more money on that stuff.
my cake and centerpieces were included in the price however we arent using them so i am hoping that because of this they will substitute some stuff.

sorry if i get like nuts i just get super excited. the venue and this sort of stuff is what makes all the other stress people are causing go away and i get like super duper happy and nuts and the same time.LOL

Well you can share it with me, I can live vicariously through you.  Seriously jealous of your venue...the more you talk about it, the more I want it!!!  hahaha!
