e-pics outfit/hair

Just a question, as I'm not getting my e-pics taken for about a month....but I'm trying to plan my outfit, etc. I'm debating getting my hair done (not a bridal updo, just getting a little style put in) and maybe having someone help with my makeup. Do you think I should stick with my regular routine so the pictures look like everyday me, or is it cool to jazz it up a little bit? I do wear makeup everyday but I very rarely do anything fancy with my hair...would people think I'm "trying too hard?"

The dress I have in mind for the pics is ohhhh sooo cute!

  • I think it would be okay to get jazzed up a bit... I am... :o) I will be getting mine done sometime next month too...

  • I say go for it! How often do you get to have professional photos taken? I think it's a great idea to get a little dolled up.

  • I jazzed it up a little bit with casual falsies and photoready make up since it stands out more in photos ;) your outfit could be casual or dressy, but comfy :)

  • I am actually the opposite.. I want my e-pics to look more everyday, and how I normally look... so my advice would be to DIY your hair and make up :)

  • I did my own hair and makeup. I considered getting it done by a pro, but I decided to DIY both. I wore pretty casual clothing, so i wanted to keep my hair and makeup looking casual too.

  • I'm getting mine done in a week (EEK EXCITED!) and I'm getting a friend that's experienced to do my hair and make up for me. I was going to do it myself, but I've heard the photography can really wash you out if you don't wear enough make up. I was worried about it, as I'm already really pale, so I plan on doing casualish hair and make up, but getting someone else to do it. I'm also hitting up the tanning bed a few times (but making sure I don't get burnt!) and getting a mani pedi the day before since that left hand is going to be shown off! Wink

  • I'm going back and forth with this same thing as well.  Natural or a little done up?  Decisions, decisions....
Either way it's going to be so much fun!!!
