Invitation Help!

Can anyone suggest a great website or bio for wedding invitation wording?  I need to figure out how to word everything and what to include on our invitations and inserts.  Thank you!

I'd definitely ask this on the invitation board or the DIY board, those ladies have been very helpful with the wording of everything for me!

Hello! I don't have specifics, but I have had good luck finding things on Real Simple Weddings and Martha Stewart Weddings. I came across a bunch of sites when I googled "wedding invitation wording", one good looking site is: http://www.hellolucky.com/wedding-invitation-wording.html.

    Hope this helps!

The inviations I bought from Target had the printing company's website on it.  I went there and they have templates with wording for each of the invitations they sell.

I would imagine even if your exact invitation isn't made through them you could get a pretty good idea of different ways to word them.  And if you found one you like, you could just use that word template and change your names, date, etc.

The website is:  http://www.gartnerstudios.com/wedding/invitations%20%2526%20announcements. From there you just click on whatever invitation you want and they each have links for word document templates for the invitation, response card, etc.

    HTH!  Sorry for the WOT!

LF-- When does your caterer need the final count? Take that date and substract two weeks. That's when you want the RSVPS to come in. It gives you extra time to get a hold of stragglers.
I think mine was a month. My caterer needed count 2 weeks before.

I agree with N - our deadline was a month before - that gave us about 2 weeks before we needed a final count to track down the stragglers.  Fun, fun!

we didnt need to turn a final count in until a few days before the wedding, but i had the deadline 1 month before the wedding, knowing there would be stragglers and people to track down.

Oh ok, smart.  I think our final count is only due 72 hours before the event, but leaving extra time is a good idea.

LaFemme - I've attached a link to a PDF from the company I am considering using for my invites... Page 8-9 of the PDF gives suggestions on wording... Not sure if it's what you're looking for but it may help! Also, I attached a page that I had saved of different wording examples for different events/circumstances... HTH!

I think I'm going to leave 3 weeks before the wedding for the RSVP's.  i don't want too far before the wedding.
