So, I don't usually post things, I'm very shy and I mostly just read what others have posted, but I'm really excited!
FI and I are closing on our house today!!! I'm so excited because it is SOOOO overdue...
(Sorta Long Explication)
We did everything for the house in March. We found it and loved it, they accepted our offer, we did all of the official loan stuff that came after the pre-approval and we had a closing date tentatively set for April 25th, the Monday after Easter.
We found out a week before closing that the seller didn't tell anyone that they were in bankrupcy and it took 3 f***ing weeks to get that all straightened out. UGH. All of this could have been avoided if the Seller had just told his Realtor that this needed to be done from the beginning.
THEN, we were supposed to close on Friday, but the seller said they needed more time to pack because they didn't realize we were closing so soon...
But, It's happening today! I get my house and I'm so excited to start painting and planting flowers and decorating!!!
