Ok so I have a bit of a problem.....
My FI and I are having 7 attendants. My bridesmaids will consist of my 5 best ladies with 2 choices from my FI and vice versa for the groomsmen. One of my best friends (a bridesmaid) is dating FI's best friend (Best man).
Sweet huh? yea but my dilemma is, one of the girls my FI chose is the best man's old hs girlfriend
. My FI and her have stayed in contact and remain really good friends and I've come to really like her as well. BUT my bff is obviously not too pleased with this.
I dont want things to be awkward but my FI thinks my bff needs to relax and get over it because they dated in highschool and there's nothing between them. Its been over 10 years so it shouldn't be a problem. But as a female I know how uncomfortable it might be for my bestie.
It just put me in a awkward position now because my FI's say is what truly matters and if thats what he wants, then he should get it.... but am I being inconsiderate to my bff's feelings???
