It's a good day for mail!

1. We sent out our invites on Monday, and I already got two RSVPs back today!  Both responses were a "yes".

2. I got yet another pair of shoes to try for the wedding (this pair is numero tres).  I think they will work!  Finally.  Oddly enough, they are the cheapest pair out of the three that I've tried, lol

Here's what they look like:



They are a little on the plain side, but they are a perfect candidate for glorious bedazzling (i.e. encrusting these babies in tons of deep blue crystals).

3. My bridal shower attire came in from Victoria's Secret!

Well, I had them stretched by a cobbler in hopes that they would stop pressing on my big toes to the point of numbness, but alas...no luck.  They still feel way too tight in the toe box. :(  The cobbler did warn me that they probably wouldn't get much better because satin doesn't really stretch, but I thought it would be at least worth a shot given that it only cost $6.  Oh, well.  I suppose I'll just sell them on eBay and hopefully I won't lose too much money!  I SO wanted them to work, but I guess it's just not in the cards.

I think that all the mail and deliveries might be my favorite part of wedding planning, haha.  I am going to miss all the fun surprises after the wedding! (I won't miss watching my bank account dwindle, though!!)
