It is a proud day...

....to be an american. Though I understand that there is still a long and probably horrifying road ahead, justice has been given to the thousands who have lost their lives, in our country as well as many other countries around the world.

Today makes me proud to be called a military brat and to be a military vet myself.

  • BIL has been in Japan and now Spain for years, He is AF and even though his family is in Spain he gets sent to the other courtries often. DF hasnt seen him since 2006, and hes never met our nephews. It would be a wonderful thing to have him home for a while. Were hoping he can get a lengthy leave home for our wedding so we can spend some time with them.
  • here, here! Thanks for serving...bad news in now my FBILs are really going to be taking hits on their FOBs (for nonmilitary families: Forward Operating Base) this summer...but even they think it's worth it! :)
