May 2012 Weddings

General Life/Check Update

Ladies, I have been a checking machine as of lately!!! So far I have the:
Venue - deposit made
Photographer - deposit made
DJ - mailing deposit by the end of this week
Invitations - purchased, need to print myself
Dress - ORDERED :)
Bridal Party - Both FI and I have asked all members to be a part of our day and they all graciously said yes :)
Bridesmaid Dresses - the ladies decided they all wanted to be in the same dress so we've picked out an Alfred Angelo dress in eggplant
Cardbox - I originally wanted to DIY this but I found a damask patterned box at Michaels for $1.50, woohoo!!
Cake - A good friend of my sisters will be making our cake and we got a heck of a deal on it. Once FI is home we'll be doing a tasting since each layer will be a different flavor.
Programs - I've typed up the programs, I just need to print them off and assemble them.
Bridesmaid Gifts - Bath & Body Works is having quite the sale this week (ends July 2) so I've been stocking up on lotions, candles, and other smell goods for my girls! I'm going to put everything together in a basket for them along with a few other items!

As for life, FI will be home in just under 10 weeks!!! I am so excited Laughing I remember when it was 10 months until he would be home. Thanks to the wedding planning time as really moved along quickly!!

We got three new kittens at the vets office today. A client of ours found them in her barn, had no clue how to take care of them, and didn't want them so we offered to take them off her hands. We have an adoption program where we FeLV/FIV test the kittens to make sure they are healthy, spay or neuter as well as front declaw. They are available after all that for $125! So I'd like to introduce you ladies to our new 'B' kittens

 Borris - Orange
Betty - Gray (right)
Beatrix - Black (left)

They are so cute but quite the handful at the same time!!

I mentioned earlier in this novel of an update that Bath & Body Works is having their big sale but I found out this week if you complete their phone survey you will receive $10 off a $30 purchase. The survey is automated and takes about 5 minutes to complete afterwards you get a number to write down on the receipt which you have to take back to the store with you to get the discount. I used this to buy a bunch of stuff for my BMs, I bought 30 items for $24, I was pretty excited about that.

Well ladies, I apprecaite you taking the time to read up on my life :) These days I'm all about wedding planning, work, and patiently waiting for my FI to come home! I hope all you ladies have a fantastic week :)
