We officially have a date set! May 22nd! A girl I went to high school with just started up a photography company and she's going to be doing them. We're going to see how we like them and then decide if we'll use her for the wedding. My MOH told me one time she thinks we're doing them too early. The main reason we're getting them done is because my FMIL wants to put an engagement announcement in the paper and keeps bugging us about getting a pic. Anyway, we're going to be taking the majority of them at my family's river house and we'll be taking a few at my FI's old firehouse building, which is where we met. The inside has been renevated, but we should still be able to do the pics outside. Since he's a volunteer firefighter and I'm a volunteer EMT, we're going to have one of his firetrucks and one of my ambulances there for the pics! I think I'm most excited about that. My MOH told me most people wear white shirts and either khakis or jeans. First of all, no they don't. Second of all, I don't want to be matchy matchy. I have a super cute white sundress with wildflowers on it I'm thinking about wearing at the river. The firehouse will probably be jeans and either my squad tshirt or a tshirt my FMIL gave me one Christmas that says "Real women love firefighters, the rest marry cops". FI has a white shirt with light gray stripes I love him in, so I think he'll wear that for the river and either his firehouse tshirt or one of his firefighter tshirts for those. I feel like I'm rambling so I'm going to stop now!
