***KAT***

I'm thinking of starting the Insanity workout and right now your the only person I know doing it.  This question may seem silly but I have to know, is it hard on your knees?  Like a bunch of jumping and such?

Re: ***KAT***

  • I actually have knee problems from running in the past and I personally feel it's helping me. I think that the jumping is helping me build leg and glute strength to take the pressure off of my knees. The key is to land soft and remember form over speed...always land safe and you'll be fine :)

Plus, I have to say my abs and legs are looking pretty stellar ;)

  • Thanks Kat.  Right now I'm trying to decide between Insanity & Brazillian Butt Lift.  The main difference between the two is that BBL focuses on the hips butt & legs- my main problem areas.  And Insanity is all over sculpting.  My knees are so bad though that the only cardio I have been getting is on an elliptical out of fear that I'm going to throw one out again.

  • I was the same way too, and the longer I didn't remain active the harder it was on my knees when I got back into it. I will say that with Insanity you work muscles you don't usually work so in the beginning FI and I had sore calves but now that I am on my 3rd week I am used to it. It's only tough the first day back after taking a day or two break.
I should totally post before and after pics of my chubby days...sounds like a post idea to me! ;)

GL with whatever you decide, hun, I'm sure you'll rock at it no matter what and see results! Remember that diet is key too! xo

  • Thanks Kat.  I'll let you know which one I go with
Before & After pics would make a good weekly post.  We should totally start something like that for the workout girls to get involved in

  • I posted my first ones and want to see if the other girls have some too, they're always motivating!
All that matters is that you are sweating! ... even though it's murder on the hair ;)
