Sooo about today... (semi long)

You all you remember how I had a HUGE day planned today... the best thing all day didn't happen and it feels like a total disappoint!

Tiny recap: I planned today 1 month ago. We would try on BMs dresses, get sized and order my dress, then look at the reception site one last time before confirming.

Well I brought three girls with me.. and to say it was fun and relaxing was not the case. True we were on a strict timeline andwanted to try on 43274093248 dresses... it was just too much too fast.

I did narrow it down to 8 that all three of them liked and looked good in so I'll look online later and check them out again and then only bring one to decide! =o)

THENNNNN... we drive to my dress place. I did my hair in loose, flirty curls so I could pin back and try the veil on with it, brought the right heel height for the shoes, and ever brought a pearl necklace and cute pearl/diamond earrings to try on with my dress. Let me say.. the dress place is 55 mins from my house. SOMEONE BOUGHT THE SAMPLE DRESS

and it I couldnt try on my dress. GRR This was the time my mom was going to see it for the first time too so I was troubly bummed! I did find a cute veil but I was over being at that place once they told me I couldnt even try it on!

The only good thing was my wedding coordinator at the reception site set up the venue for 150 people and it looked great! I told her we would like to have it there so I have a big CHECKKK for that! =o)

Sorry to hear you had a stressful time with the dresses! And bummer about the sample dress, BUT your venue looks great, and congrats on the big check!
