Fabric Flower Bouquets

Today while I was at work I was thinking about what kind of bouquet I wanted. I know I didn't want anything that would make FI allergies flare up (poor thing he is allergic to everything but a dog.) I was going through google and I found this

I am in love with the idea of making a fabric bouquet.... So tomorrow morning the FI and I along with 2 of our friends are heading to Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Joann's to go on my fabric hunt.... Also I thought instead of putting buttons in the middle that I would put little star fish to go with our beach theme... This is going to be a work in progress for quite some time... I will definitely document as I go....Wish me luck hopefully my vision will come to life... .

I love the idea of putting the starfish in the middle! If you want to make it really airy and beachy, you could use a fabric like cheesecloth, or even burlap. I think those come in other colors besides white and cream. You won't need a ton of fabric either! I've seen flowers like that on Martha Stewart that were made out of ribbon as well...

If you look on Martha stwearts website, she has a great tutorial for fabric flowers, I've made them as hair clips and they are SO cute! Good luck!

BTW: It is a tedious project, cutting out each petal, but it will look beautiful in the end!
