My FMIL is looking at hotels/inns for the OOT guests at our wedding (which is FI's entire family and family friends) and she is in talks with a few hotels/inns that do blocked rooms for weddings.
She said they would need to know me and my FI's name, and that there wasn't a deposit, she also mentioned that if we decided not to use it for OOT guests then we wouldn't lose any money.
I don't know much about "blocked rooms" but this sounds weird.
What do you girls think/know about this?
