So today I went to my boss to let her know that it's set, alluding to I'll be needing that time off for my wedding. She reacted with pure excitement and happiness, and then she asked where it is, and I told her...then she said that she's never been to Puntaa Cana, DR and since she'll be going on a cruise in January, May will be a perfect gap of time for her next vacation.
AWKWARD!!! My fiance and I are having an intimate destination wedding with only closest friends and family there. How should I tell her basically she's not invited and that we are keeping it small? She was so excited, I didn't know how to tell her she won't be invited because I was at a loss of words because of what she said LOL It was sweet, but heartbreaking at the same time.
