Anyone on the boards today? Lol, Sundays are my boring work day...lucky me!

Hey, I'm here...The FI has been out of town ALL weekend. He's coming home today, but won't be here for like another 6 hrs. Plus I keep percrastinating about a paper I need to knock out.

...and I spent a bit on $ yesterday, so hopefully he's not mad...lol...I told him I needed retail thereapy since he wasn't home! I bought our cake cutting set (Hobby lobby had all bridal stuff 50%off), bought my bridal headband, bought pillow boxes for "tears of joy," bought my bridal brooch (for the bouquets and the bridesmaids brooches...lol. Ahh, I love Etsy! How about you? What have you been doing this weekend?

I actually hadn't done anything WR since getting that shipment in with the bride/groom wear for our day of
I do want to start on our cake topper soon (painting 2 wooden 'people') and order our favors soon (koozies and getting bags for cookies too)but it's so far out and we're doing a Destination Wedding that I'm not sure what else to work on...if I go on Etsy I'll be in a whole mess of trouble! LOL

This sounds like my weekend!  FI has been gone all weekend...I figured I'd take the take to catch up on one of my classes and finish a paper I needed to write...yea right lol  I haven't even started.

Oh and I bought some of my centerpieces yay!

@ Kat: We've found our cake topper, but I'll have to wait till the FI gets home to "clear it" wtih him, since I've already spent a bunch.lol. We like the non-traditional cake toppers too...ours are baby elephants. 


my favorite animal is elephants (not sure why, I think it's a childhood thing) and we got engaged at the zoo, so we thought it would be appropriate. We are actually having flowers as a topper, but these will sit next to the cake on the cake table.


@Sabrina: thanks for the idea "For Your Tears of Joy"...I hadn't even thought about doing this. And then when I started looking, I loved your pillow boxes so I spent last night trying to find the right ones. Finally found these:

 
I think they'll be perfect. I'll order stickers online when they come in (so I can figure out what color, etc) and will wrap them in ribbon. --have fun at the fam. event!

yeah, I did some prelim outlinning last night and finished a stats report but I'm really not feeling this 15page Subject Matter Expert paper for my management class...my group is driving me CRAZY! grr

Lol... Thanks Kat!!! It doesn't take too long I just want it to be "perfect".... after I do some teal and pink flowers gotta get the starfish glued on and then figuring out how I want them arranged... Everyone at the craft star asks what are you making? Then when I tell them they say "omg that soooooo cute" then of course they ask "When are you getting married?" I say may of next year( I get a strange look) Then I come back and say yeah I know I have awhile...
