NMR: Living room furniture... thoughts?

Hi folks,As you may know, FI and I are closing on our first house at the end of May, and today we bought a sofa and recliner at jordans for our 11x15 living room. (FYI new englanders- the jordan's red sox deal ends tomorrow... and you can put things on layaway until july 12!) Here are pictures of the pieces we bought, and a picture of them side-by-side at the showroom. I know the recliner is much more contemporary than the sofa, but I thought with coordinating pillows on the sofa and a throw on the recliner, they would look fine together... thoughts?
