Newbies: We do these posts to hold each other accountable for diet and fitness especially leading up to the big day! ;)

Good morning and happy Tuesday MAY-ladies!

Yesterday:
W/O - I ended up doing the 40 minute Insanity Core Cardio dvd with FI AND decided to run my 2 miles...I was pretty proud of myself. I think Insanity is totally helping my endurance and breathing (I'm asthmatic and haven't used my rescue inhaler in 4 weeks!)
Dinner - I wasn't too hungry after working out so had Banana but cheerios, some mango, and a protein shake lol

Today:
B - Lactaid cottage cheese + mango (they were on sale!)
MS - Planters Nutrition Energy bar
L - Healthy Choise Garlic Shrimp w/whole wheat pasta + apple sauce
AS - Planters Nutrition Energy nut pack, 100% cookies & creak whey post workout
D - TACO TUESDAY!!!
W/O: May do Insanity Core Cardio again or a Cardio circuit with weights at the gym

  • Hello Ladies!

    SO yesterday I kicked my butt at my cardio classes! I started at 6pm and did Bootcamp Kick, 7pm did Meditation Yoga (which is so hard to focus on staying still after your muscles have been worked out and hurting Laughing), and then at 8pm I did ZUMBA! Love it! Three cardio classes in two hours and 45 minutes.. not too bad! I had a bowl of cereal when I got home since it was so late.

    Today:
    B: Starbucks Oatmeal with Skinny Vanilla Latte
    S: Peach Ice Tea and Two Dove Promises
    L: Salad Bar?
    S: ? (I need to go shopping for office goodies so I don't go in other's candy jar!)
    D: Subway?
    WO: Mini Zumba, Pilates Sculpt, and Mini Cardio

    Idea: What if we did Tuesday's Accountability on Wednesday morning and Wednesday's Accountability on Thursday morning.. and so. Does that make sense? I have a hard time guessing what I will eat and then I do not comment about it tomorrow because it's usually only the dinner... but just an idea from what I am experiencing.
  • Yesterday:
    D- Cod & wild rice with green beans
    W/O- 25 mins Elliptical & 30 mins abs & core

    Today:
    B- banana & granola bar
    L- salad of course
    D- Don't know yet

  • It's hard too so don't be too hard on yourself and take your time, esp to prevent injury! I redid week 1 too ;) So technically I'm on week 5 but it's my week 6

  • Yeah... I think for me it just like I find every imperfection that I want to change... and FI is taking phentremine which is a prescribed diet pill which he is down like 40 lbs... and here I am spending countless hours in the gym working my butt off eating right drinking tons of water I even cut down to 1 can of diet coke... and what happens I gain 3 flippin lbs... I think these past few days I just wanted to throw in the towel but I know I can't...

  • I would just keep up with it girl, it works!

    Just to relate, i was on fat burners for 3 years...off and on...Lipo 6 and Meltdown primarily. I decided this past Xmas to stop ALL 'cheating.' No more fat burners, no more caffeine. I gained 10 lbs this past Xmas between the caffeine withdrawal and my body getting back on track.

    FF to now and I am 125 from 132 lbs (goal of a lean 115 at the smallest) and 5'2"...I was a size 29 waist and now a 26 and much tighter. I take a Super B complex + lecithin + Pantothenic acid for energy and metabolism support (all NATURAL supplements)

    It takes longer, but the effects LAST longer the natural way ;)

  • Thanks girl... makes me feel better... He just says well why don't you take phentremine? I told him I dont want to spend $60 dollars a month on it and I want the results to last... So hopefully by July I will be 25lbs lighter... I am almost there...

  • You're doing awesome! Just be sure to eat enough and throughout the day. LOTS of water and size, not weight matters!

    I have a friend doing the medi diet thing on shots, etc. at $70 a week and she's a zero now...i was totally annoyed but you know she'll gain it all back when reality kicks in, you know?

  • Today I'm outside doing a lot of nothing... Actually ground water sampling but overseeing and not the normal physical routine this usually entails. So far I've only had 2 granola bars and lunch won't be coming until 2 or 3 pm when we are finished here. At which point I think I'm going to chipolte grill for a chicken burrito bowl (rice, chicken, corn, tomato, cheese)...all organic. My granola is organic too. Went to whole foods and got some seeds and trail mix sort of snacky health food. Day 2 on water... Hating it. Lol Last night spent 2 hrs at the gym :)
