What everyone up too this evening? Not too much here sitting at the house while it thunderstorms had tons of tornado warnings today. Luckily nothing came here....

Yeah it's been a very quiet board day...Manic Monday?? lol

I'm relaxing after Insanity and eating a roast beef on whole wheat...with a pickle..and waiting to go get FI from work..working OT to get this wedding paid for~

OMG don't even get me started with these storms.  Aaron is just waiting to even see how late he will be at work tomorrow because of all this...ugh.  I am going to bed early as I have to leave for work at 615am tomorrow.

@ Kat: You could have kept the storms we didnt want them... I was enjoying our sunny 84 degree days... but its okay because if it rains all day tomorrow I will have to wear my hello kitty rain boots to work hahaha...

It's been great here, looking forward to a relaxing weekend...taking my parents over to the FIL's a couple of hours away: boys will fish and girls will shop! I love that our parents get along...so cute

I just realized a few weeks ago that me and FI will be together for 3 yrs in June and our families have never met.... Hmmmm... I think its time that I plan a get together...

I guess it cause our schedules are all different now( Thanks to Metro...) and then whenever we try something happens or comes up...  My dad is also a workaholic... maybe we can do a something for Easter...

@ Mona- I had UCONN going out in the final four.  Wish that I had had more faith in them now though .  To be honest my entire bracket was shot to hell after Louisville went out the first round.

@Ambie- don't feel bad, my parents haven't met FI's family yet either.  And it's been over 3 years lol

Our families haven't met either, but it's only been about a year, so it's not too surprising. They probably won't have a chance to meet until the end of this summer when we move in together and have a housewarming party, since my parents live in eastern Ma and Maine, and his are in western Ma.

Did anyone's FI's parents do the traditional "welcome to the family" call to your parents, or is that outdated? Ours didn't, but I read about it somewhere and wondered if it happens still...

FI's parents were the 2nd ones we called after the proposal, so that's when they did that with me, but everyone's different I'm sure

Oh, I didn't mean they haven't welcomed me... I already feel like part of his family, it's great :) I just meant our parents haven't talked yet, but it's a little complicated since both of us come from divorced families, so its not just two sets of parents!

At work = sometimes I don't read thoroughly and end up skimming too quickly lol

Our parents didn't do that, they met on NY, and will hang out this weekend with us; they never really talk to one another without us or a gathering, etc.

Ha, me too!  We just had our 3 year anniversary in February, and our families have yet to meet.  The only exception in my brother, who met all of Jason's immediate family.  I guess the 900 mile separation has a lot to do with it, and my family also doesn't really have the financial means to travel here. 

Anyway, sorry I was MIA last night, ladies.  I was teaching some college kids. :)
