Need your help with flowers...

I saw these flowers on a Google search and they literally took my breath away!  I have not seen them before...anyone know what they are (and if you do, do you know if they are generally SUPER expensive?)  TIA!

    They look like dahlias. The only reason I know this is because its the flower i want to use for my bouquets!!! Here's a better picture of one....

    just a warning, if they are dahlia's they're out of season in May :(
    there were some in the bouquet i like and we switched them out because they don't start blooming until July. if you don't have your heart set on dahlias, just a look, a good florist can help you replicate it with a spring bloom.

    Dahlias are a spring flower in Michigan. They are blooming at Home Depot right now and thats the reason why I decided to go with them. I saw a display of them, asked the vendor what they were, and fell in love. The vendor gave me a ton of good ideas for bouquets and everything!!
