What could be "My Thing"??

So, I'm thinking how I could tie everything in with a simple phrase. A lot of the other ones I have noticed around the boards are: Forever...And a Day; Love is Sweet, Perfect Pair; Two Peas in a Pod; Ever Lasting Love; My Fairy Tale; etc. I will have a monogram but what could be "my thing" ??? One thing that I have thought about was "Sweet Serendipity" (since we were never looking for a relationship, we met the first day of college, and neither of us had plans to go to that college and yet we live an hour away from each other...) but I'm a little hesitant to settle without other opinions.
This is random but any suggestions would help! =o))

  • I like, "sweet serendipity" that's really sweet and it sounds like it would suit you guys :)

  • Honestly? I think it's cheesy and unnecessary.

If you do go with it, "Sweet Serendipity" is probably the better of the options.

  • "Forever and Ever, Amen" A couple used that saying for all of their stuff for their wedding my mom just went to. I thought it was cute!

  • I've honestly never heard of or been to a wedding that used something like this before.  I have to agree that I think it's a little cheesy.

  • It may be cheesy but my favorite bible verse from the time I was a little girl has always been 1 Corinthians 13:4 ("Love is patient, love is kind... etc") The last line of that is "Love never fails" It's something I've literally lived by my whole life and we've been thru a lot of hell in our relationship but our love for each other is always what gets us through so I will be tying it into the wedding because it means a lot to me.

I think if you choose something that is meaningful to you and him then it's not really cheesy but if you go out and pick a phrase just to have one that's when it would get weird... but no one will really know the difference I guess so I think if you want it go for it but don't feel like you 'have' to have something.

At first I wasn't sure about this whole phrase idea, but thanks for that Sabrina... love it! We kind of have a Catholic/Country theme going on, and I wasn't sure it all worked, but that ties it all together! I wanted to have a rustic looking cross on our invites and paper, and that phrase will make it perfect!

  • Thanks ladies! And, no I don't want something that doesn't mean TONS to us! I do not like the cheesy ones that I mentioned in my initial comment (2peas, perfect pair, true love, etc.) I was just wondering if you had ideas! I would like to use something on the programs or invites that ties everything in but I'll keep thinking and get back to everyone later! (lol!) But I do really like your plan Audrey! That sounds like it fits perfectly!
