I just looked at the date and realized that the countdown really has begun... Whew. I still have tons of crap left to do....... Anyone feeling this way yet?  Or am I just going bonkers??? LOL

Chech we date match YAY! Only 2 more days tell we have a year to go. And yes the time is going to FLY and its going to be stressful but so exciting at the same time.

Its definitely setting in for me! I have nothing set in stone yet and the only thing I have managed to get done are wine glasses for my BMs. I have panic attacks at least once a week that everything is going to turn out like crap

I feel the same way, spalko! My mom keeps reminding me that I could be competing with graduation parties for space (my wedding is going to be on Memorial Day weekend), and it's really starting to get me freaked out! I keep telling myself I have some time, but still! And pretty much the only check I have is my invitations....it's difficult because my FI lives 3 hours from me, and I'd really like to make these decisions together.

The next year is really going to fly by. I feel like it was only like 7 days ago that we got engaged, not 7 months!!! The time is going so fast. I'm really glad we had a longer engagement!!

Oh I know Wolfiek3, my wedding is the same weekend (May 26) and I know where I want to have it and all that but nothing is booked yet. Part of the problem is that we're waiting for my FI's bonus check to come through  before we start putting deposits down on stuff so as long as no one else calls about those dates we don't need the money right away. The other issue I'm having is my FI is 8000 miles away overseas right now so it makes planning so much harder. I know some stuff needs to get done ASAP but part of me feels guilty making decisions without him here. We talk a lot via the internet but its still not the same All the small stuff we're waiting on til he gets home (only 3.5 months!!!!) so he'll be more involved.

Oh wow! I can't even imagine trying to plan a wedding with my fiance deployed! I can't even imagine him being deployed!  You are such a strong woman, spalko! I completely understand what you mean though--it really isn't the same, internet (or even phone) versus face-to-face. But only 3.5 months to go, that's awesome! I'm sure it'll be here before you know it. And hey, at least you already know where you'd like to have your wedding and reception! That in itself is a big decision! I'll keep my fingers crossed and send warm thoughts your way that everything works out for you!
