So I have two good pieces of news to share with all you ladies!!
First of all, one of my very dear friends had a baby girl on May 31

Her name is Madeline Amelia and she is absolutely adorable!! I haven't had the chance to meet her yet since they live in Indiana (and I'm in Michigan) but once my FI comes home we're definitely making a trip down to see her!!! Not going to lie, after talking to Jess about having the baby and everything it kind of, for just a brief second, made me consider the possibility of having children (but I don't dare tell my FI)!!!!!
The other piece of good news happened at work on Tuesday. Every so often we will get a fax from a company called HomeAgain. It's a microchipping company that sends out alerts when an animal (that is microchipped) has gone missing. Tuesday morning a fax came in for a missing female husky, I didn't think anything of that fax because we very rarely get any dogs that come in that were found and microchipped so I tossed the paper in the recycling.
About two hours later a client of ours came in who found a female husky and she was in rough shape!! I quickly dug the paper out of the recycling (it had her picture on it) and sure enough it was the dog!!!! Arro had been missing for two days so I called her owners and they showed up within 5 minutes to ID the dog!! She was pretty beat up and had definitely been attacked by something so we put her under and began cleaning her up. Once we got her shaved, we could really see the extent of her wounds. She had a huge cut on the back of her head that went through her right ear and she had two bite wounds on either side of her throat! Thankfully we were able to suture the ones that needs to be and got her all cleaned up for her parents

I spent a lot of time checking in on her and making sure she was comfortable and warm! She was such a sweetheart even though she had been through hell!! It was just such a great feeling knowing that I helped this sweet little girl find her family again! When she left she was just wagging her tail happy as can be!
It's times like these that I absolutely love my job, seeing those wagging tails at the end of the day make everything worth it. Sorry this is so long but Tuesday turned out to be a great day for me, my friends, and Arro!
