Grey's Anatomy - SPOILERS

Does anybody watch Grey's Anatomy? I jumped in to a later episode on Hulu.com and don't know why Izzy left the hospital and why she's mad at Karev. Or why Meredith isn't there and why she is mad at Derek. Anyone know? Thanks!

    Molly, can you share?  I stopped watching Grey's after the whole ghost Denny thing last season, but now that you mention it, I am curious :)

    Sure. :) You are much more behind than I am. Did you know that Izzy had cancer and she and Karev got married? So... Dicer tole me that Izzy left the hospital because the Chief fired her.  Karev asked the Chief to give her a break because she's weak from the cancer, but he took it as weak on the job.  So Izzy blames Karev for ruining the "only thing left in her life".  She's been staying with her mom I believe, but won't talk to anyone.
     
    Meredith had a baby in real life, so they gave her some recuperation time on the show after donating part of her liver to her dad.  She did it for Lexie. 

    Meredith and Derek are dating (living together). The Chief was mad at Derek for doing a surgery he didn't approve of, and Meredith was trying to get them to make up.

    Does all of that make sense? I like the show but it falls down the list when up against other shows.

    Mer and Der (in their eyes) are married to each other now, not just dating/living together.  They wrote it up on a post-it note, but nothing legal, etc. 

    I LURVED the Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years epi last week.  I watched it TWICE.  Smile

    Ooh, thanks for the details!  I'm glad Mer and Der are finally together.  Uh, totally didn't know about that whole Izzy/Karev thing.

    Anyone know what's going on with Christina?  She was always my favorite :)
