Today is my Friday and I'm bored...

I took a vacation day tomorrow so I could get ready to go out of town with my BF to visit his parents.  I have no desire to be in the office today, it is supposed to be 80 degrees today and I'm just bored.  Even though this is a short week for me it has been forever since the weekend.

Mine too, as we've got a PD Day tomorrow.  And concert rehersals all day today, so we're watching movies in PE cos we've lost the gym.  Easy day for me!!    But we're supposed to get more snow I think.  1 more week and I will be in hot sunny Florida!!

Oh man that sucks. In my area, we don't usually get tornados, but if we did happen to get a serious warning, we'd have to go down into the well at my parents'. Now we (FI and I) have a basement, so it's much more comfortable.

I'm tired today too...  I've not slept very good all week and I stayed at BF's last night and he was hogging the bed.

BF also just texted me that he left his running shoes and iPad at his place this morning.  He works on my side of town and I work on his side of town (but further out).  So I'm going to take my lunch hour to drive 20 minutes each way to go pick up his stuff for him.  This gets me out of the office and keeps my evening commute from doubling.

I think it is funny and sad that he was surprised that I offered to do this for him.  His ex-wife was a selfish crazy person who never offered to help out with anything.  He seems to have trouble remembering that I don't react to things the same way his ex-wife did.  It is getting better, but things like his text today make me want to smack his ex upside the head.  *shaking head*

I'm really bored at work right now.  I just want it to be 4pm already, this day is just dragging.  They are having an ice cream social at work later to celebrate tax season being over.  I loved ice cream before I became lactose intolerant.  I doubt they will have any soy ice cream or sherbert either....
It's cloudy out and not as nice as yesterday's weather, but it's better than a snow storm.

I just have to say, I get so much work done when I don't have to teach!!  Had a very productive morning so far and I still have 5 minutes to pop in here

I'm bored today too. I'm sitting in a classroom listening to a lecture for a class I already took since I'm the embedded tutor. The campus is overlooking the ocean and is about 1/2 from the beach. From where I sit, I can see all these people taking a beach day. I'm so jealous! Not to mention that I'm halfway through a cold. I'm trying not to sneeze because I sound like a beast.

I have only been through one tornado siren/warning. I was visiting friends in WI and they decided to tell me that the town the lived in the was so small they didn't have their own tornado sirens. When the weather got bad, you couldn't hear the neighboring town's. I spent one whole night awake watching out the window and freaking out while my friend (the bad weather buff) was enjoying herself.

I'm also bored.  DH said he needed me to help with a charity event tonight so I did all my work early so I could have the afternoon off.      Well DH just called and said he doesn't need me.   So now I do not have much to do.

Random funny things happen today.   I rarely check my PMs because I never send any and no one really sends me any either.  Well I just check and I read a headline as "you bully".  I was like who was I being a bully to?.    Then when I opened up the message it was all about Chef D.  The headline actually said "your bully".    I had to laugh at myself.

I also posted a "I judge" thread on reception board thinking I was on the Chit Chat board.   

I'm batting a 1000 today.

I was right...  Going outside for lunch was a mistake, I have absolutely NO desire to do anything resembling work for the rest of the afternoon.

I went to go pick up BF's stuff from his apartment...  I treated myself to Wendy's (including a yummy Frosty) for lunch.

Just wanted to say, it's my Friday too! Now that tax season is over, we get every other Friday off! Unfortunately it's supposed to be a little chilly tomorrow.

ETA: Stage, my dog thinks tornado warnings are the best ever because we all sleep on the floor in the closet, and he's not allowed in our bed. So it's like we can have the slumber party he's always dreamed of.
