Bustle for Casablanca 1891?

Hello everyone--I got me wedding dress--Casablanca 1891 and it is gorgous!!I   And no tthats not me in the pic but I would love to have her shape lol.   Now just wondering about a bustle--has anyone worn this dress and had it bustled?  I would love to see any pics or any ideas.

  • I am not sure what it would be called (maybe a variation of the french bustle) but I would see if there is a way of tucking the bottm layer up under the dress so that just the hem is sweeping the ground.  I think that would look really pretty and still keep all the layers showing.

I would guess it will need a french bustle since it has such pretty layers and you won't want to hide them..Check with the seamstress, though
  • I would agree with the french bustle idea. Tucking one layer underneath the others so you can still see the detail in the dress. Absolutely gorgeous :)
