Restaurant Suggestions - South Hills

For all you South Hills Ladies-

We are going to dinner with friends on Friday.  I'm a big fan of small mom and pop restaurants vs chains.

I would say fairly reasonably prices $10-15 per plate.  Not specific on type of food.  Every time I ask DF about restaurants he suggests Fridays, Applebees, Olive Garden.  Which I don't particularly care for any of them!

TIA!

Atrias (the one in Mt Lebo is my favorite) and Pasta Too are both great.
Davios in Beechview is excellent! Though may be more pricey than you want

Ooh, I am going to second Molly B's (great Irish food and pints), and Pasta Too is sooooo good for Italian! :-) Great choices KR :-)

I have also heard Bado's in Mt. Lebo is good! (It is on Beverly Road).

Sounds like you've already decided, but Franco's is amazing! Also, that grill where Red Lobster/ChiChi's used to be...I can't think of the name. They are great too!

Pasta Too in South Park/Bethel area. Their food is to die for especially their ranch dressing. I've NEVER had a bad meal there. We waited over 2 hours on Mother's Day to eat there and it was worth it. They do it right. If you don't want Italian do Sesame Inn in McMurray or Mt. Lebanon...that's great too!
