People are all up in arms that she's having a baby at 46. Let's not forget that before the pill women would sometimes have their last baby in their mid-40's.

My grandmother being one of them. Are we that surprised?

The age isn't what makes me side eye.  It's the wonky relationship with the other kid's dad.

I'm with 6---have kids all you want, just make sure you can take care of them emotionally, physically, etc.

Halle is a multi-millionaire.  I think she can buy whatever it is this baby daddy might be lacking.

Also, I want more pretty babies, so I'm excited.

Her (reported) inability to have a stable relationship with a man is more of a concern to me than her age.  And the fact that her baby daddy's can't seem to not be civil to one another and not punch each other in the face. 

Kelly Preston was 47 when she had her last baby.

I guess the difference is that our grandmothers didn't have much choice. Now when people are having babies at 47, or having 12 or 15 or 20 babies, it's on purpose. 

And yes, Halle has the financial resources to make up for whatever deficits her age might create (although, really, she's probably as fit and healthy at 47 as I was at 27). But I'm still raising an eyebrow to myself.
