puppy mill purchase is coming late summer, probably.  we have to fence the yard and i do not want to get a dog until after july 4 trip.

the house is coming along. every weekend, i try to set a specific small goal, like figure out what will go in the linen closet so the door will actually close.  i moved furniture around in the spare bedroom so now there is room for a bookcase and all of my crafts.  tres exciting.

we pulled the pictures from the listing so we can try to get the same shots at the same angle so you can see what it was and what it is now.

we still need to buy more bookcases.  we had a bookcase built floor to ceiling and wall to wall; it's already full and we have boxes left over.  sigh.

i voted in zsa's poll that i am a cheater and you know -- once a cheater always a cheater.

i took a hilarious photo the other day.  i am trying to find its companion.  once i have those two, i will post to fb. 
i dressed him like a little hipster this morning: graphic t, nike soccer zip up, skinny jeans and slip on tennis shoes.  i stopped to take his picture and he immediately held up his baggie of apple slices so they would be in the picture too.

i love love love living near my family again.  it's nice to be able to show my dad something broken and ask him if i am fixing it correctly rather than try to take pictures and wait.  it's nice to have my sister tell me how many white hairs i have in the back that i have been missing.

we are no longer looking at real estate listings, but i do look one up every once in a while out of curiousity.  dream house with open bathroom situation has not yet sold.
