Stressed bride needs advice!!!

in Wedding Woes
Help! I'm getting married in July in my fiances hometown. In January we called all of the hotels around our venue looking to reserve blocks of rooms and none of the hotels would let us do that. They all offered a first come first serve deal. With 3 months until the wedding we found out today that ALL of the hotels in the area are booked! There are no hotels within a 25 mile radius that have an open room. We have many guests comming from out of town and I have no idea what to do?! Does anyone have any advice?!

    Talk to your fi's family.  They may have some alternatives to offer- B&B's etc.

    That is a stressful situation, but your guests probably already have their invitations, yes? Maybe they're the ones taking up the rooms? Talk to your family about b&bs or think about some kind of shuttle if you can fit it into your budget and get some rooms blocked 30 or so miles out.

    The wedding is in July and the invitations are being sent out in May. There is a really big racing event near where the wedding will be so all of the rooms have been booked for the race. I've check B&B and nothing it available.
