former co-irker just sent me a FB friend request. I didn't like him when we worked together 4-ish years ago (he was a hipster douche who was absolutely useless at his job - total slacker). I am FB friends with his wife. (She also worked for our company and would go out for happy hours with my group - she was always so nice, and very driven with her career - no clue what she saw in him...)
I saw her post last week that her H just 'dropped his first album' - so i'm betting the desire for accolades is what is driving the friend request. I haven't talked to the guy in the past 3 years. I've heard some of his "music" before, so I'm betting the new album is laughable.
