First 6let is still incredibly punky. The poor kid will wake up from a dead sleep crying in pain. He keeps asking when it's going to be over, but we don't know. I really thought he'd be better by now. They warned he'd have really bad days 7-10 when the scabs are falling off. I'm hoping he's just an early scabber because he's miserable now.
The big news was that my uncle got lost this weekend. He's 77 and has Alzheimer's. My aunt was ready to place him in an assisted living center. The oldest daughter (who doesn't live local and is in denial) decided he needed "one last trip." I love this cousin, but she is a fly by the seat of her pants, free spirit type. That doesn't work with someone that needs a routine.
She took him golfing and somehow they lost his wallet which may have been a blessing. She booked an early morning flight out of Florida that threw off his entire morning routine. While cousin was showering my uncle left the hotel. He had no id, no money, nothing. The man has been known to wander to the airport and fly somewhere. Thankfully they knew with no wallet or money he couldn't do that. It was almost 24 hrs later, but he was found safe. Cousin now understands why aunt is getting help.
We did manage to do the zoo, eggs, and an overnight with my parents.
And a funny: BIL posted a picture of the gift he made for M2's bday. He's trying to start a custom woodworking business. He made the growth chart ruler that a certain someone blogged about. I hope it looks good in person because that's an awfully big piece to have to hang (behind a door if necessary).
