Where do I begin?

I never wanted to get married, or have kids... that is until I met THE ONE. We all know the story. I am recently engaged and since Ive never gave it any thought, I have NO IDEA where to start planning a wedding. Im completly overwhelmed. Big wedding? Small wedding? Desination? should I just elope? Does everything just come together over time? Help

how did your fiance see his wedding day, does he have any opinion? you could probably start there. i didn't have a clue either, so i started with how my husband saw his wedding and planned from there.

I was in your shoes a little over a year ago.  I never thought of having a wedding and would be happy going to city hall.  It's very important to my fiancee to have his family there, so we're having a medium-sized wedding.  I had never been to a wedding that I was old enough to remember, so I got in touch with a wedding planner and have spent alot of time on the internet learning about weddings.  Good luck figuring out how to do your own wedding!
