    he was a really good writer, period.  some of his reviews i could just quote as good writing.  and i always used his review of "she's out of control" for the whole purity thing.

    Agree with HMo.

    I was sad when he announced he had cancer again, but I had assumed he would beat it again.  I just hope it was quick, lacked pain and he was accepting of it.
