we had our team lunch today, and I received one of the 2 Spirit Awards for "going above and beyond" - basically was recognized for all of the work I do, plus the training/training development, audit participation, all of my coordination with our leadership on managing the India and engineering issues, dedication, and maintaining a positive/great attitude (i couldn't help it, i laughed at that).
got a $50 visa GC. hooray!
other than the money, the positive was that basically all of the leadership/directors came over and said a few nice things afterwards. i think this might indicate that my "leaning in" is paying off, and the promotion/role change is in the works.
