Wedding Woes

O-face

I think I shared a music playlist w/you.  It's from Seasons 1-4 of Bones so far, b/c I've always loved the music in that series.  It's an excellent playlist, ranging a lot of genres.  I'll keep adding until I get all of them on there.  I've really really enjoyed it and have quite a few starred to look into new artists.

Re: O-face

  • Yes, I did see that.  I love a playlist called "Hipster International" right now.  I hate that I love it, but I can't help it.  Wahhh.

  • Ha!  I'll have to look that one up.

I'm still having to rebuild everything I had.  When I disconnected my FB profile, it went haywire and I lost all my followed/ers, playlists, apps, everything.  I'm still a bit miffed over it.
  • I have mine connected but I really don't use FB much at all anymore.  Or anything besides TK, and Spotify right now.  I'm lucky if I read my ~5 running blogs.

  • I disconnected it since I tend to play Spotify all day at work and I think it was showing everyone what I listened to all day.  I didnt' care about that, but I didn't want post after post on people's feeds from Spotify telling them I was listening to something new.  IDK, I couldn't really figure it out and thought it might be annoying for other people who don't lock down all their stuff like I do.

Since Google Reader is bowing out, I either need to pony up to a new RSS feeder or give up.  I'm not sure what I'm doing yet.  I need some news to stay connected w/the world.

I have the Color Run coming up.  I'll make sure to have someone post if I die in it.  :)
  • You do?!?! re: the color run

I had a friend that thought we should do it, then her fiance started being a weiner and saying that he was afraid he would be hit in the face with the color.

WHICH, I suppose is okay since he has had reconstructive surgery on his face...but I was still bummed.

I do have a pretty full race schedule this spring so far.  I'm excited about it.

  • I am afraid of being hit in the face b/c of my hard contacts (I can't just blink stuff off of them or pop them in and out real easy), so I'm just wearing sunglasses to keep it off my eyes.  I'm also wearing a bandana over my mouth just to start out with, b/c I'm not sure of the color powdder + allergy-induced asthma mixing.  I'll know pretty quickly if it's a problem or not.

We're walking/running/shuffling.  One of my teammates hurt her knee in the warrior dash pretty badly and she hasn't run on it at all yet, but is walking at a fast clip w/no problems.  I also dropped the ball on training myself, so I'm just doing what I can.  They don't even time this one, so I figure as long as I make it in under an hour, I'm good.  :)
  • I don't think time really matters in this race, thank jeebus.  I mean running alone is enough, but dodging or trying to dodge items is another level of wtf-ness.

I had just heard mixed reports about people purposely lobbing things with more intent than necessary.  But I'm sure it worked itself out in the first year.
