I need to find a DJ and decide what I want to do for favors. It will be some kind of food. I'm thinking about gourmet popcorn in cute bags to take home. Yes, I know, so not necessary, but I told y'all this is the wedding I never had.:)

Anyway, my work friend hasn't started on the invites yet, but you know I'm a planner so I want them done ASAP. However, it's not like you can rush someone doing something for free for you. Right?

This weekend I was thinking, "Why am I going to have this big party? You know, but then I said screw it, full steam ahead. How many times in your life to you get to celebrate yourself?

The freebie thing is hard, but it sounds like you're cruising on the planning.  You deserve a party and it sounds like this will be awesome.  I'm not sure I was thinking about you this weekend, but I was.

I am already thinking about my 40th party.  I've never really had a birthday party other than with my immediate family, so I'll be throwing one for myself and I need a few years to plan.  

Favors can wait.  Do you have a dress?
