Des Moines Engagement Picture Help

I'm trying to find ideas for outdoor engagement pictures around Des Moines. Our photographer is from out of town so I want to have some locations picked before hand so that the day we take pictures isn't frustrating with trying to find places.  Any suggestions or ideas would be great.

We had ours taken in the East Village and near the Capitol.
