Going to rain on our wedding day :(

I know I'm just stressed out about the wedding but I feel like I could cry right now after looking at the weather forecast.  I really wanted to get pictures on the beach and boardwalk and that's totally not going to happen now.  I know I'm being crazy but I just want to cry!

    You're not being crazy! I have been stalking the forecast too, we've had rain everyday for like 2 weeks now UGH.
    I want an outdoor ceremony and that wont happen unless its at least 65 and sunny.

    Cry your heart out now and try to let it slide the day of, dont let that ruin your moment!

    I like your idea - I'm going to go ahead and cry about it and then try to let it go!  FI is so sweet and keeps trying to tell me that all that matters is that we're getting married and I keep focusing on the weather, lol.

    It will just make your day more memorable!  If you've got time, buy some umbrellas (big/huge ones like golf umbrellas will be big enough for both of you to stand under), and start googling ideas for cute pictures to take in the rain.  Embrace it, it's part of your story now :)

    I'm with lamoeller, buy some awesome umbrellas and get some cute pictures. There's nothing you can do about the weather but work around it. But I do know how you feel! I was terrified about it being too cold for an outdoor ceremony, but it worked out better than I anticipated. I just got lucky. Had I been married on Friday, it would have been a total downpour.

    And if it makes you feel any better, it's supposed to SNOW here for our day this weekend.  Yep, it's spring, but Minnesota failed to get the message.  Sigh.  I expressed ordered a fur shawl thing and we're picking up some umbrellas tonight in case it decides to rain instead.

    I'm sorry :( But hey, rain on your wedding day is good luck! And yes, go find some cute big umbrellas, maybe a cute pair of rain boots, and look up rainy wedding pictures. There are tons, I researched that too. You can make it cute! Hopefully it will be cloudy and stop raining long enough to get some outdoor pictures!

    I stalked the forecast and cried when I found out it was supposed to rain on our wedding day. It wasn't the bright sunny day I wanted, but it didn't rain during the ceremony! And at the end of the day it didn't matter. I was married to the man I love. Don't let it get to you, I'm sure you'll get some great pictures out of it!

    it ended up snowing on our day i was so worried about the rain too but honestly on the day you dont even care!! trust me you are so happy with everything else rain is the least of your worries :)
